Question for you all. I know the rep ROOs have the datewheels too far to the right, yet for some reason on this model the datewheels seem farther to the right than normal to me. Has AP changed something, or am I just seeing this incorrectly?

I’ve just seen the prototypes in a video presentation shown by the boutique staff. The running seconds is at 6 now, and I do like the new configuration. The datewheel is also not sunken like before. It is a modernized version of the long running series of sec@12 ROO and of course the see through caseback shows off the beautiful 4404 caliber. Being a gen owner I’m happy that the APs continue to evolve and make the watches challenging to replicate in terms of function and reliability. But in this hobby I do want to see progress as well in the reps alongside the gen at least in terms of visual accuracy.

Well that is big news indeed. No more running second at 12… and the date is not aligned with the 2 - 4 markers anymore.
Does that mean new rep that will look more like gen AND with the correct thickness? No sure…
Anyway those two are fire :

who's disappointed they used rubber pushers?
The raised dw and font kinda looks DHgate to me but suppose it’s because I’m used to seeing it recessed. Overall it looks like they’ve taken a dated model (which is increasing becoming less and less desirable in 2021....try selling a gen for £15-18k and you’ll know what I mean) and made it look even older. Not sure about this one but think I need to see it in person....no doubt it’ll be a grower.

Some would say they look classic, to me they look dated. I do like the ne 43mm versions tho.
