Yup. And it doesn't take a lot to strip it...
Still fancy one of these. Sounds like a V2 case, with V4 everything else plus new titanium mesh bracelet as a special order might be the way forward. Jeez i can't remember if the V2 case was titanium now i think about it, it's a while since i read up on it

I have a V4 VSF with a VS+ Ti bracelet. I wonder how this V5 compares...
VSF NTTD watch is better done than the VS+. I own both.
Following the same logic I'd expect the bracelet to be close to gen too.

Remember, when it comes to Omega reps, no factory comes close to VSF, they've been the longest in the Omega repping game and their products are second to none. Similar to Clean factory when it comes to Rolex reps.

Lets not praise VSF too much. They haven't bothered to fix 3 key issues since 2019 :

Small crownguards
Crown stripping
Yellow lume/mismatched lume

That's also me ignoring the bracelet not quite being like gen yet (but you can put it on rubber so it's fine)

Is there any long-ish term solution to crown thread stripping?

I have several VSF Omega and none of them have stripping issues… the problem is with people not knowing how to use properly the crown:
You must press and turn the crown anticlockwise until you hear a click, then you turn the crown clockwise… I have been doing this in all my watches since 2009 and never have stripping issues

It's batch by batch issue brother. Some people like poor @Teamjlf has had all his VSF Omegas strip, and he also does the counter clockwise trick.

Titanium yes but still the end links are wrong
Unless I'm missing something, the end links are not wrong but are based on the original version of the bracelet. Omega changed the bracelet end links due to some sort of quality issue.

See here:

The newer models have a "longer" end link but the originals has this cylindrical style.

Here some better pics of the Ti Bracelet.
Weight is 95g total.

The surface looks great, but in the details (welding) it looks a bit weak imo.

Wow, it looks pretty good! Very tempted to get one, however I prefer a good old kudu leather…

That's correct. The V1 of the genuine NTTD bracelet had reportedly quite a few returns for replacement due to ends of the bracelet dislodging from the thin lug bars. Omega then changed the lug bar design to be wider and beefier, reinforced especially on the underside part of the lug bar.
