If they sort the bracelet, I could live with the dull crystal. Might try to get a Swiss sapphire with single AR. See if that helps make the dial look more pretty (less dull).

Couldn't agree more and that's exactly why I haven't ordered one yet despite how beautiful it looks in pictures.

A proper Ti mesh is essential for me as I am not a big nato fan.
Besides that, I am aware the vintage look is nice but I am addicted to 2AR crystals and the lack of AR is something I am not sure I can live with anymore.

Ain’t the film out soon?

Might find that the factory miraculously drops a Ti mesh bracelet just in time for the film.

Lovely watch, just a couple of things that irritate my eyes when inspecting these on my wrist in real life (I’ve had all versions):

1. Crystal seems polarising. Causes the dial to look a bit dull. It just doesn’t “pop” as much as i would like.

2. Mismatching bracelet colour is distracting to my eyes.

They’re small details that only I see on my watch.

The film will most certainly be delayed again until November. Maybe summer if we’re lucky.

This may be a stupid question, but I’m new to the world of high quality replicas. How long of a life expectancy are watches like this estimated to have?

Really depends on you and how you take care of them.
The movement in this watch perticulerly is very reliable and service able. But if this movement gets to the point of needing a service (which all mechanical watches do every few years) my personal preference would be to get a Genuine ETA and replacing the Asian clone with it.

Any recommendations on where to get these types of replicas serviced? I live in the United States.

Wow, is this the rep? I think these shots just seriously convinced me to pick one of these up. They look incredible.

Yep! It's the V2. I have a v3 bracelet as well.

If the TI ever comes out I'll pick up that whole version of the watch as well and do more shots.

The Dull crystal is the biggest thing that bothers me. Is gen the same in real life?

The issue with the crystal is entirely dependent on lighting, both natural and artificial. Both the gen and rep have a "dull" looking crystal and it's a case of catching the right light at the right time at the right angle. At face value the crystal is actually not that bad but the real problem is when you're trying to take pictures of it. It lacks that instant pop you ordinarily get with other Omegas.

I have never seen the gen but I would say so. The whole watch is supposed to be understated and kind of vintage so I would say having it spark too much would defeat the purpose.

Every Bond watch from "Dr. No" to "Spectre". Anyone feels like collecting? It's interesting to see the product placement over the series.

Annnnd now I want a vintage Rolex
