The gen pouch is pretty silly to begin with.
Why anyone on god's green earth would want a wonky replica of it is beyond me.

What's silly about it?? I really love it—it's something quite unique that works really well with the watch's military/vintage look. Much better than a boring old wooden or leather box.

IMO the only silly thing about it it that it has a nice, prominent, spot for a springbar tool...that wasn't actually included.

More photos of the gen pouch. I suppose the colours between the straps and tag does vary between each one

I do however have noticed that the stitching colour is different on the gen on the outside where the tag is. Looks like white stitches on the outside of the rep pouch.

I don't know if Omega do it but I know some high end manufacturers actually engage artisan workshops directly for stuff like this.. Ralph Lauren sometimes engages equestrian gear leather workshops for leather products for example.. so those omega bags might have been made in different places and Omega have a bit of flex in the standardisation requirements of the item.

Pure speculation but crossed my mind!

I guess it'll make sense to ask the dealer for a nice pouch with even color. Can still decide after QC pics.
of course a wooden box is nicer and looks more valuable. Especially considering the watch price tag. But I think the pouch is cool and fits nicely with the NTTD vintage military look

I'd rather see them concentrating their efforts on a quality rep titanium bracelet.

Looks like a shotgun bag to me.. cool idea.

A point on accuracy

My V3 was about +10s/d when I got it, but it has slowly got more accurate and now for the last 6 weeks is reliably between 2 and 5 seconds a day.

Depending on position it is actually a little fast or a little slow and seems to balance out so right now it is about +2s over the last week!! I am amazed..

Any other stories on accuracy?

Mine is running -1s/day. We'll see how long that lasts, but holy moly I got a good one.

Do you have a timing machine? If not how do you check it?

I just set it against my laptop clock and look after a day/ week

thwre is an app too called Watch Tuner which can give a live accuracy readinng

i just ran it again.. it has always been accurate in terms of the day/day measurements and this confirms the point in my earlier post on accuracy!!

I just got my QC photos. Basically the same as the post above. But here's a closer image of the logo. Not the best, but hey, it's free with an order right now, so I can't complain! I'm excited to get it, nonetheless.

Did you order off the website to get that deal or DM with TT directly?

And it's a working gadget. Note the blinking helium valve in that one scene.

Also a different looking caseback and a copper strip behind the mesh...

So (one) of the watches features in the movie seems to break electronic locks. Wonder if they also included that in the Rep? :p

Looks like Bond bought that ACF Factory dodgy version then

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

And here I thought the engraving on the caseback would play a part somehow. Why did Omega even do the engraved caseback the way they did I wonder... Still, very interesting. Didn't expect them to reveal what the watch does this early. Surely it does more than just pick locks electronically.

I remember it was very hush hush for Spectre regarding the "loud alarm" of the Seamaster 300 in that one.. Lol

So it looks like the only screen accurate version of the watch Omega are selling for this movie is the Aqua Terra lol

The more I look at that somewhat thick black caseback from that clip, the more I think its some sort of detachable gadget. Maybe a bomb or something. The shape and how it wraps around the case, it looks like it can be detached from the case. Note how the copper strip is attached to it. Once detached it would probably reveal the engraved caseback we're all familiar with by now.
