Sold out!! I got fuct by a TD for being incompetent!!

ARGH that is unacceptable for a crack addict like myself. Maybe next run will be better without QC issues.

Any word on what the rep's bezel insert is made out of? Looks so shiny in pics that I cant tell if it's metal or ceramic. I don't care really...as long as it's durable. No gen bezel swap on this one boys!

Sorry for not getting back to this. I was told by Ryan they recalled them because all the TD's rejectec the watches. They should have replacements next week. :raji:So that means expect to see them in a month. I do not trust a week estimate. But I am a naysayer!! :r2d4:

I placed my order the 13th with ETA- but ETA was cancelled now I have to wait for the next batch. I also payed too much (ETA) - hope everything works out fine and they pay the difference back.

-> I was told per E-Mail, the batch arrives next week.

Got mine in today, everything looks a lot better IRL than in the pics I got for QC and even the ones I took right now.

vfxpc0.jpg

The only complaint I have is while resizing the bracelet I broke the pin that attached the 3 piece assembly in the clasp(dont know how it happened really. Maybe lateral stress?), I also was not able to completely resize it as I was only able to take out 1 pin. :(
I am not new to resizing PO bracelets as I have resized 2 V5s previously, but these seem a whole lot tighter. Also because of the fit the pins are extremely easy to accidentally bend when pulling out with pliers.

I have seen the the pin on the clasps break before, even in Gens as it is a known weak point. So I'll head down to the watchsmith next week and have him use a 2 piece pin rivet to fix it and while at it perhaps he can resize it with his brass punches, instead of the metal one I was using. I guess I'll wear it for a while on a grey nato.

Great piece! Hope the accident with clasp resolves soon and we can have some more shots!

Sure I'll take it one tonight when I get back home.

Yes, I was pretty excited:D: , but I seriously dont see how the pin broke, it wasn't a clean break but more like it had fatigue stress between the head and stem on the pin. Plus I was not even close to the clasp when pushing out the bracelet pin.

Well maybe the pin was already broken, i remember when i bought a watch when i was in Thai land, was going to fix the bracelet, so i took my "watch repair kit" and pulled the pin out it came out in to pieces. So it does not has to be your fault

Best(not very good) lume shot I could take with my cellphone camera:

24q1z46.jpg

Although the pics does not show the lume coloration that accurately(bluer IRL), from all the Gen lume shots I've seen online the rep color is still a bit on the green side.
