I read somewhere that the rep does have a form of micro adjustment on the clasp, but it is different to the genuine easylink adjustment which gives a plus / minus 5mm adjustment. Unfortunately I can't remember where I read this, so I can't refer you back to the source. (That's why I was hoping that somebody with more knowledge in this area could enlighten me.....!)

In these new Noob the gold color is magnificent, very gen like. if it gets ruined I will plated it in real gold

Something very cool about this watch is the dial and hands lume color. It isn't the usual shock white that can really stick out and IMO ruin the look of a FG or TT Daytona. This one has a pale yellow patina that is gorgeous. This one is a must have.

Have others had problems with plating on Noob or ARF watches in YG? I have tried RG from ARF and Noob (Daytona and YM) but all had weird plating issues. I am thinking it is a Rose Gold thing, but hoping someone with YG can chime in.

I have had YG plating issues with a Noob TT Sub. The top ultrathin layer degraded very early on. On advice from master bracelet refurbisher Jonj480, I just polished that layer off. The thicker base layer beneath is a slightly different shade, but seems to be holding up OK.

I've found arf to be about as durable as a sharpie. Noob is much better in my experience, but if I can find someone to replate the case I might.

LOL! So my suspicion is correct that ARF can't plate for nothing. I was hoping YG was better than RG in terms of fading.
I’ve always found that arf gold is a very good comparison to Gen. But this noob does look gorgeous! I’ve got a Gen gold bezel that’s gonna be fitted to my arf 116528 but tempted to get one of these and pop it on!
