One of the best dial produced by Noob? I have analyzed every difference from Gen and I can't find one. It is not a configuration that I like very much but the dial is impressive for how close it is. Unlike the ARF version which has the center of the counters hollowed out, this Noob seems to be counters in relief exactly as they should be. Ceramic Bezel V3 better than the gold one.

Wow! Great dial from NOOB. Only difference to the GEN I can spot is, that the GEN has only one tick besides the "Swiss Made" while the NOOB has two ticks. But I think besides us crazy watch guys no one will realise.

A question for the experts here: How does the Noob gold plating color compare to GEN?

Love the 508. Anyone have experience with Noob Daytona FG? I had some less than stellar performance out of a Noob TT bracelet, the top layer starting to separate early on. Maybe a one-off IDK.

I think I can salvage it by removing the top ultra thin layer, I started doing that but got sidetracked.

In my opinion the best dial for 116518 (base Noob of course) is that:

although ARF in this case also made a mistake the minute indexes at 27 and 33, in gen they are long in this dial (as Noob did well in his perfect dial 116519)

I happen to have the gen of this watch. The red on the dial and on the seconds hand is brighter than the rep for sure. The gen is like a bright blood red. Also, the markers at 27 and 33 of the rep dial is wrong, it shouldn't be a long stick. But nobody will see that when you're wearing it.

That being said, the rep is very well made though. I'm tempted to build a franken and sell the gen.

You are correct. The noob gold is a tad too yellow but only in certain lighting conditions. However, a competent gold wrap job will solve the issue. I dont have the rep but from the pictures, the rep subdials look slightly shinier. The gen is very matte even under strong light with little sunburst. Here is a shot with the S&G.

I absolutely love the 116518LN with Paul Newman dial. I’ve been waiting for a really good rep of this and I think this is the one. The only concern is the gold colour and issue with the plating but as thrillofhunt says, a good gold wrap job should hopefully solve that issue.

I’m going to pull the trigger on this beauty, I’ll post pictures when it arrives.

I'm still tempted to do the same. Nearly ordered it off Mary earlier. The rep gold is unfortunately too yellow as has been pointed out but it is far more durable than the ARF. Still in two minds! I think I have enough daytonas!!

before pulling the plug to order my 116519 was deciding between full gold 116508 green dial . But worried about the gold

Bro I change my order after qc. I changed it to the rubber version. The dial is magnificent, but the gold bezel has too thin numbers compared to the gen, and strangely Noob has changed the sel on all Daytona. Now they are horrible, they did not care down, look at this comparison
