You'll still have wrong SELs, the shape is different on the white gold models from the SS. That's not a noob vs. ARF issue

Just placed an order for the gray dial, my TD mentioned he has a couple of these on hand right now. Hoping for QC pics soon will post here after approval and wrist shots when I receive it :D

nothing beats the gen in this case...the look and feel are totally different to ANY rep as long as they don't make it to look the steel like white gold and lift the weight....and with a bracelet the weight is a real big difference....

damnit, i don't understand why can't noob make the correct SEL for the 116509 (white gold) and 116506 (platinum) daytona: both of these models should have longer SEL that protrudes the end of the lugs.

it's basically an instant tell with the stock bracelet, imo.

This forum is a great place to learn! The 2006 and 2011 or newer dials have different lume dot style at 3,6,9 o'clock. The Noobs are copy of the year 2011 or newer which are fuller while the 2006 are narrow. The chrono hand and subdial hands colour is the wrong red too. I am using Bob's watches as a reference by the way.

Maybe whack a rubber strap and metal end links like 116519LN until someone find a way to mod existing end links or buy ends links for the bracelet?

I think QCing the colour is super tricky though as lighting conditions can make a huge difference. Unless you got both gen and rep next to each other, it's difficult to say for 100%.
