Hi everyone!

Long time lurker, first-time poster here.

First off, huge thanks to all of you for making this forum such an amazing place. The amount of watch knowledge here is mind-blowing! Seriously, I've learned more from you guys than I ever did from any other niche forum.

So, I'm on the lookout for a high-quality replica 36mm Datejust case with a smooth bezel and an oyster bracelet in a brushed or matte black finish. I'm guessing it would be PVD or DLC coated, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Now, here's the thing: Rolex doesn't actually make black cases and bracelets, which makes finding a good replica a bit like hunting for a unicorn. The quality is super important to me, and branding would be the cherry on top—I want this thing to look as legit as possible, like the custom gen mod in the attached photo.

If anyone has any recommendations on which TD or store might have what I'm looking for, I'd be forever grateful.

I've attached some photos for reference to give you a better idea of what I'm after.

Also, if there's anything else I should keep in mind while searching for this specific style, hit me up with your wisdom!

I'm not sure they rep pvd datejusts. There's subs, but I've never seen a date just. And even if it were, it wouldn't be the best models around. So if I were you I'd look for someone to coat a clean or vsf datejust. Not sure how that would turn out though.

Hi buddy

Whether it is a 41mm or 36mm, most of the replicas Datejusts are mostly in Stainless Steel at best. Those PVD or DLC coated in the market usually are only at best mid end grade available.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. This quality you will need a custom coat specialist to get this kind of matte DLC coating and usually costs more when you are doing only 1 piece.

Any Rolex rep coated will look like balls on your chin. Stay away. If you want to spend a mint, you can buy a stainless and find a good DLC guy to do the work
