No idea where that picture comes from.
Anyway...there is some improvement but it is not enough. Look at the number 7.
The pic from another seller but not in RWI. That's why I erased their logo on right side of the pic.
I think the IWC logo is improved but I do not know what difference the number 7 has.. (I am not an IWC expert sorry)
Just compare a picture of gen dial to the picture you shared here and it will look obvious the different position of the number 7. Easier to see than to explain.![]()
Despite all of its flaws (lack of sunburst, wrong dial marking placement, wrong lug shape, left datewheel alignment), the overall watch is pretty nice looking. I'm not sure whether a V2 will be made based on the popularity of this watch but I think I might get it anyway. I don't want to miss out on a blue dial IWC like I did with the Noob Vintage Ingy.

I agree with you that the watch is very nice looking. However, the watch shows some obvious flaws that we can seeI know the price of this watch is much cheaper than gen so I do not expect the watch will be same as gen
Hope V2 gets better than V1..
The watch is pretty indeed but the rep has too many flaws even for 300 usd.
Let's see if there will be significant improvement in the final version, I am not so confident but I will be touching wood for the next couple of weeks
