Hey Everyone,
It's great to see this thread going and getting bigger.
I thought to do a brief review and share some pics. The sub dials are textured and you may notice that the date window seems to have a paint chip. This is just lighting that reflects off one of the textures.
Overall:
I love the watch, it's a casual and sporty piece and has gotten a lot of wrist time. It just feels like a go to for me at this point.
I'll start with cons because it's what I would have liked to read first.
Cons:
- I RLd the first one with my TD because the Swiss Made marking was a total mess
- the 7750 (I believe) has a pretty low rotor and has the "rotor wobble" (you can google this) which basically means you can feel the watch moving on your wrist if you say jerk your arm or move it quickly. This is because the rotor on this movement only charges when it spins in one direction (some may find this odd)
- dates can be a bit misalignmed (doesn't bother me that much)
- quick deployment clasp feels like trash. It's wobbly and just gives me a cheap vibe. I don't know what the Gen feels like but this is my opinion
- chrono buttons feel hard to push and there is something that makes it not feel premium the way I'd imagine it (again similar to clasp as I don't know what Gen feels like)
Pros:
- band feels great
- watch keeps amazing time
- the chrono works well
- the dial is gorgeous in sunlight
Overall I love this watch, I will save up for a Gen speedy because...it's a dope watch
