New here, searching for the second piece

Hi all,

glad to join the forum, I've been lurking for a while and bought my first watch because of reviews and advice here about half a year ago. I'm now getting the itch everyone talks about and I believe it's time for my second. I went through the typical "I need a Rolex" phase and I believe I've worked my way out of it (for now), for practicality reasons above all else.

What is catching my eye these days, however, is some sort of diver, perhaps an Omega/Fifty Fathoms/SuperOcean/Navitimer 8 etc. I've been creeping the sale listings and learning about the models, reading the NWBIG and best factory lists, all the good stuff. A question or two for the group... what's everyone's perception of ceramic cases? Worth it or no? Second, what's everyone's favourite Omega diver? It's like you can't go wrong with the Seamasters or the Planet Oceans.

For the Omegas, I will highly recommend the VSF Factory ones which are good quality for the dollar you spend.

There is the new Ultra Deep if you like them. Planet Oceans are one of my favourites other than the Seamaster Heritage 300 (personal preference)
