Things like your posting streak get noticed very quickly, we're trained to see that and if we don't, there's plenty of members who will notice and give us a shout.

Tbh, I d like to sell a watch. I was lurking here for a long time. And since today is free I thought I could participate more. At this point I kinda enjoy posting, but I ll stop If that annoys anyone.

It is annoying.

But that's not why it's concerning.

What is concerning is that it's an attempt to circumvent the rules. Even if that wasn't your intention (if we'd give you the benefit of the doubt) but it's technically still a rule circumvention.

And folks who circumvent the rules intentionally often have more sinister motives behind it, like scams for example.

If you don't think that's a legitimate concern, it makes you look —in all blunt and frank honesty— rather suspicious.

So I'm pretty sure that after I've shown you this new perspective, you now understand why post-whoring (intentional or unintentional alike, because initially, we can't know which one applies) is problematic.
