Replica oblivion…
These will be monstrous ! They’ll wear like a 45. My 42mm chronomat is a beaut and about as large as I’d go with these. But hey if you can pull of this size they are an amazing looking watch. Seen em at the AD and had to be dragged out with a rope by the missus.

@Blackcalf Which TD has these pics? That first bracelet link past the lug seems to stick out too much. It might just be the pics. But that will be an eye sore if it does. Sunken datewheel is expected.
exactly my thoughts.....that gap betwen case and strap is horrible ....

Did anyone buy one? How's the quality compared to the 42mm versions? I like the design, my first expensive watch (gen) was a Breitling Chronomat with green dial and a brown calf skin strap. This was around 1990 and I paid €1,250 brand new. Those we‘re the times... ;-)

My favorite watch (which I actually may enjoy more than my navitimer) is the early 2000’s chronomats, specifically The chrono cockpit/chrono galactic. I love those earlier chronomats too with the onion pushers.

I don’t understand why all these BLS chronomats have nearly a milimeter of the crown tube or case tube still visible. I mean how hard is it to get the crown flush to the case?? I shouldn’t be able to dig my finger and nail in between the case and crown…

My Blackbird rep was like that. I had my modder modify the tube and it fit flush.

I just assumed it was done like that since they use them for display purposes that they didnt want to wind then all the way in. Alot of pics of gen watches do the same. Anyway mine closes all the way and is flush with the case, theres no gap.

These are quite expensive! $648USD on bracelet seems a bit much.
