Nope mate
cf have different cyclops shape
i have both vsf and clean
this is VSF cyclops

yea it looks like it’s a vsf he replied back , too bad I will have to send it back for a CF. Although it looks so nice , a bit hesitated if CF will look better or not.

since you have both which do you like more and recommend ? Thanks

From what I’ve been reading in all of this thread, plus a few others on VSF, or VSF v. CF comparisons, it all seems to point in the direction of CF base with VS movement being the best possible combo/compromise (without getting into frankening with gen parts, that is) - I’m personally looking forward to getting a CF base, VS movement, along with a few gen parts to start building a franken piece.

Just keep in mind it's a bitch to find parts for the VS3235 (gen, rep or aftermarket) if you want to repair or franken. The VR3235 is better for sourcing parts if need be because it still uses many 3135 parts, which are relatively easy to find (gen, rep or aftermarket).

That’s a great point, actually! Appreciate you pointing that out!

In terms of the Gen model, was that the only difference (caliber 3135 to cal 3235) in the jump from the 116 ref DJ41s to the 126 ref DJ41s?

126 has a slightly sleeker appearance due to slightly thinner lugs and bezel.

The thinner bezel applies to both smooth and fluted bezel options? I’m not surprised by the lugs also being streamlined as they were on it (model change), but I did not expect the bezel to vary from 116 to 126… I thought fluted or smooth bezels on DJs were all the same.

Really nice ???? but you also need a gen DW.

Well yes, more gen parts the better :)
However these rep datedisks from VR/VS movements are really good these days. IMHO no need to upgrade to gen DW unless your goal is to go superfranken.

Same here , any good dj 36 makers at the moment ?

Well, I'm not a senior, but there's a thread "what is the best dj36 ootb" or something like this started from hadamokel I think. And a couple other threads. More than one maker apparently making good 36mm, each with its pros and cons. You gotta read it yourself, not just to mention the oldest forum adage, but also because it's your taste and only you know what you can live with.
In any case, Google what you're looking for and add site:forum.replica-watch.info and you'll find tons of info, that's how I spent the last months even before subscribing here. Have a good hunt!
