Makes sense, but only if you don't want to invest a single penny and wear it OOTB. I'll never understand though how someone can't care about that obvious cyclops while going nuts about a "white gasket" that I can't even see side by side with my modded DJ (gen crystal & gen gasket).

I have a sub that I bought I while back and the date flips instantly at 11:59, would you think it's possible to calibrate the DJ to do the same?

You can remove the hands, set time on movement until date flips, and then re-press the hands on. I've seen watchmakers do this when servicing.

Every single watch has there own flaws. If you can grab a cf v2 go with it. It is out of the box a good, stable watch. I have v1 and v2, both are really good. If you need perfection, do gen bezel, glas and Date Wheel.

This was disscussed many many many many times and again and again and again… try to use search bar and check what are differences between gen and rep cyclops

It's quite simple. VSF and gen has better AR-coating which leads to better black hole effect. Clean crystal isn't "bad" imo compared to other factories but VSF is noticable better

While the AR is possible to achieve with a more sophisticated process like Prof uses, no factory can reproduce the way Rolex glues on the cyclops which makes a big difference in the appearance. Here's a gen crystal (blue dial) vs. VSF crystal (rhodium).

So VSF is still the "king" of dj41? It seems to me that the CF v2 bezel is exactly the vsf bezel. The bracelet is definitely in favor of the CF (arf bracelet). The blue VSF dial has a color closer to the gen, CF catches the light better (it pierces vsf in low light, closer to the gen). DW vsf is thicker than the gene and not as sharp as CF and gene. CF is thinner than vsf and gen.

So my CF DJ41 blue dial just arrived. First thing I noticed was that the bracelet (oyster) was really squeaky! I mean all rep bracelets need a dip in the ultrasonic cleaner and then in an oil bath, but this CF bracelet was specifically bad (I had a Clean GMT Master II arrive at the same time, and it had the same issue). I gave both bracelets an ultrasonic clean, then a soak in some WD-40 Specialist Water Resistant Silicon spray lubricant, and then after letting the WD-40 dry, I gave them a nice soak in a mineral oil bath. Then I wiped away the excess oil with a warm wet paper towel. Both bracelets are now deliciously smooth, silent, and flexible.

Definitely not. Both have nicely shaped teeth, but VSF never had any plating.

Never tried WD40 tbh - thought it would irritate the skin, but i guess thats why you dip it in mineral oil after. How long do you soak/dry out each part please? I'll try it on mine.

It has been discussed in this thread since the start, over and over.. and over. You will need to add the facts together yourself and decide.
