I just received the QC, love the watch but not sure whether it's the new bezel or not. Any ideas?
Also got a question regarding the crown on the dial, is it scratched, or is it just lighting?

Here's a comparison where I tried to demonstrate any difference to see... I can see that I am ableto see the outer bevels of the bezel on both upper and lower side of the bezel ring. Not sure if this really proves anything though.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just GL’d this QC from JTime. On it’s way to me now.

Can’t quite believe my luck. Bezel looks to have been fixed. Really pleased with this new batch of CF, can’t wait to get my hands on it. And service from JTime is outstanding.
(There does appear to be a mark on the xtal but I’m sure this is just residue.)

Yours is the old bezel. That photo alone almost certainly confirms that they have changed the bezel since.

Look at the outer edge of yours. It’s sharp, the angle is harsh. Compare it to the photos I just posted above, and you’ll see a more rounded edge.

It’s clearest when you compare the photos shot at an angle. It’s subtle but the difference is there.

No. What you can see are pictures. Real life is a different ball game. Furthermore, claiming the bezel is somehow an instant tell "it shows immediately" without ever holding it in your hand or seeing it at wrist distance....

I just don't know what to say to you, if you don't understand that real life and pictures can sometimes be deceiving.

Furthermore, even if it is slightly thicker (which I actual think is an optical illusion) does it look wrong? Things don't have to be 1-1 exact. If they look fine in isolation, and even more so at wrist distance it's a non issue. If it looks wrong and totally out of proportion to the point where it doesn't like a DateJust... then sure.

But to make these comments without ever seeing it? That is the problem. I myself have one on order, in ~2 weeks I'll be able to compare directly in-hand with my Genuine and make actual reasonable comparisons. Comparing through pictures is just asinine.

Apparently the wimbledon does not have the updated bezel yet, and is not known when it will. Only the blue and silver dial has gotten the updated bezel yet.

So we agree that this is the best silver version out of the box right?

Don't think so just yet. They answered that it will take some time for the Grey dial to get the updated bezel. So I guess both rhodium and wimbledon's the same.

I have a hard time too. But judging from that picture I'd say it's the old bezel. Far too small angle of the bevel, making the height of the lower part of each grove very low.
Try checking from straight above, if you can't see the bevel all around the outer rim, then it wouldn't be the new.
