I would have said the opposite.
Rhodium maybe darker. so default can be less visible

Completely stock - just arrived today. Apart from the clasp, this is as good as a VSF in my opinion. And yes, I've owned a VSF DJ or two. I'm very impressed from this latest batch. This is a keeper!

I never thought I'd say this but I actually like subtle this Rhodium dial looks in person and on my wrist.

Blue dial is more of "in your face" bling dress watch when Rhodium dial is bling but low key at the same time.

It's always nice to have choices when it comes to dress watch.

No offense to ppl who like wimbledon dial but i'm just not a huge fan of it. It just never spoke to me, in a same way that new kermit sub never spoke to me I actually sold my vsf kermit knowing that i would never be able to own vsf again...really tried hard to like it but it just didn't speak the same language that hulk did and still does every damn time i look at it's green dial.

It all comes down to your preference, I'm just very anal when it comes to d.w and xtal, that's all.

I know the lighting is atrocious and the angle is wonky but I still prefer a smooth bezel.

I feel you, I would exchange xtal most likely aswell. Eventhough its way better compared to other DJs you can currently get.

i‘m happy that the bezel is not a big topic for you. I would guess its not such major thing in real life as some people always say?

I disagree, IMHO the smooth bezel is a bit more elegant and looks more aesthetically refined. Of course it is a matter of opinion and personal taste and it won't be for everybody.
But at 41mm it would be a bit much for a woman's wrist.
