New challenge: 116610 LNV, black + green. Why not?(franken build)

Hi folks,

Finally, my dream comes out that Ive desired for long. I always wondered why Rolex put the ugly green dial on their hulk sub. The color combination of classic sub itself was just perfect, shiny black maxi dial and bright light tone green insert!!!

Btw, I ended up getting a genuine green insert and everything is ready to go together!!

Supplies,

1. Noob V3 mid case with double edged engravings
2. Initial batch of JF bracelet (short and low position SEL)
3. Gen 116610 black dial
4. copy 2836(not rich enough to afford 3135 lol)
5. Noob hands
6. ARed gen crystal
7. Gen green insert
8. Tc V4 date-wheel

Alright, looks perfect. Cant be better than this in my budget.

Next, put the dial on the movt. Easy!

and then mount it on the case. Easy!

I just love the bling bling effect of gen crystal. It just upgrade the watch to upper class!!!

Finally!!! with the green bezel!!!

At this moment putting the green bezel on it, I was so moved by its color and combination of light and deep black mood!!!!

Great work and great looking watch. A submariner will always look good. And the ceramic bezel looks so much better than the aluminum one...

But the funny thing is, I always loved the green shiny dial on the hulk and I always hated the green bezel.. lol

I wouldnt build a green dial on a black bezel though, your combination looks better - but I would really like to see the green dial with a darker and less "milky" green bezel

Thats true, in fact I like the Cameleon green dial, changing its face all the time. Can you offer me a green gen dial then I will make one for you lol!!

All gen parts probably consumed more almost 2k... do not recommend to get crazy haha..
