So after some years of not building a watch I got bit by the vintage bug again.. So I decided to build a budget vintage 1675 using the "new" BP Rolex 1675 case.. here are the specs:

BP 1675 reshaped lugs
WSO plexi(enroute) the stock ain't that bed
Clark bezel assembly(pending)
eBay refurbished singer 1675 dial

Some initial picks
Dial (gen on right for comparison)

Is this the gan_antique dial? If so, what do you think of it as mine is in transit as we speak.

No.. bought it of ostrich68 and his cousin that has more dials for $138+shipping.. he sent me a 1655 explorer by mistake that look really nice.. excellent seller btw.. immediately sent me the correct dial.. should be here next week..

I am using a 1655 base, have everything except for hands. Work and the baby literally have not allowed me to pop open the case to see if I need 21j or 2836 hands. Then she's off to get modded. The 1675 is something I have been chasing for a while!

I am happy to hear the reviews about the eBay sellers. I' am planning a refinished dial purchase shortly. I kept getting outbid in a few. And have been flopping between these and the one Yuki sells. Yuki is cheaper and comes with hands. The GMT will fit I want one with white lume so I can age myself. Like I did to the stock one. My 1675 days hi.

If I ever have mine modded again I would opt for a Yuki dial. Maybe

These dials are much nicer than Yuki.. I have had Yuki dials and while they are nice they are not as accurate .. for example.. the 1680 and 5512/13 the 12 oclock markers are never right.. while these eBay sellers ostrich and his cousin dials a pretty great for the price.
