Hello fellow watch people

Hi, Im new to this forum and I am here because I fell in love with the IWC Pilot watches. Particularly the black Top Gun Chronograph, the Mark XVII and maybe the Big Pilot although that watch is pushing the limit on what I can wear from a size perspective.

A few pointers on where to look would be helpful, been checking out some sites but most seem a bit fishy. Looking to spend around $500 if the piece really is worth it.

Hey there, welcome to the forum!

You've definitely come to the right place before making a purchasing decision. First of all, disregard the sketchy sites, and take a look at the TDs (trusted dealers) here http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php/168-Trusted-Replica-Dealers

When you buy from a TD, you're backed up by the forum, and mods/admins here. It'll keep you safe, and you won't get scammed like some of the "swiss" replica sites. Since you're into IWC (some fine ones at that) I would take a look at the IWC section http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php/55-IWC-International-Watch-Company-Replicas Read through the threads, and most importantly, the stickies.

The biggest part of getting a good rep is research. You might want to dive right into buying a watch from a TD, but I urge you to read up on everything first. There are many different versions of the same watch, made by different factories. Each with different flaws, quality, and price. So make sure you look through all of the stickies, about movements, factories, and the basic do's and don'ts or the rep world. I waited for almost a month, reading up on everything, before I bought my first rep. So don't rush yourself.

I can assure you that I have done tons of research on the gen pieces but now its time to dive into the rep world. There seems to be tons of info here on the forum and I am definitely going to search up on the watches.

I just now seem to have a problem with the link you posted about the TD's. It says Bad Gateway and doesn't work, might it be because I'm on the phone?
