Bezel construction isn't gen style but I read one member did fit gen insert. The rep insert is really good though.

How should the bezel click sound be when you turn it? Subtle smooth clicks?

Quiet metallic clicks. Some reps have plastic sounding clicks. The clicks on the BP SD sound ok but bezel action is loose and uneven.

Turning the bezel should be quite easy, and once in place it should stay in place.

The BP SD has a lot of play back and forth when in place. This is because the click spring is too long and is bending inside the bezel.

As I wrote, Adrian is changing the click spring to aftermarket one. Hope it helps.

Now we are just waiting for the dial from TC.

Im using the gen like click spring... I already adjusted mine to make it subtle clicks, but dont know how subtle... Just bend the friction washer, i bent mine in two portions 12 and 3... Bezel is not wobbly anymore...

I think you have to handle a gen to know the answer. Don't know how to explain in words...

95% complete

Mine is almost done. My Gen. Crystal was a bit loose, so I re-installed the old one. I do not like it but overall very happy with the watch.

Very nice!

So basically the BP SD won't take gen crystal. Good to know.

Nope mine was too tall. check out my parts comparison thread it is a lot thicker. THe Gen Crystal is only .02 smaller at 29.40. It should fit most BP Seadwellers, I just got a crappy version. My TC dial fit and so did TC bracelet, so the inconsistency in the Manufacturing is the issue.

Surf, here is a pic I found on the good ol web and the crystal on the BP looks pretty close in hight to a gen? Atleast to me it does.
