I recently purchased the Whitebread Nageurs de combat Fifty Fathoms watch from a "authorized dealer". I liked the styling and was actually able to see and try on a Fifty fathoms with the black numbered dial. I have always preferred a steel bracelet on some watches (like the Rolex Sub/Sea Dweller) so I decided to add one to a watch that might never see one because of it being reserved to 300 pieces. If anyone else has pondered this option here is the result. I know it won't appeal to all. Now I'm thinking about selling the Sea Dweller.

@ 40mm its an awesome fit. I'd also love it if someone did the Bathy in 38mm....that classic size is perfect for that watch...the Bathy @ +43mm is just too much for most to pull off :(

well if the lugs are curved it should be wearable I would say...

I couldn't live without a bracelet option.

So, I've found that with a little modding the 580 hollow endlinks for vintage rolexes happen to fit OK on this case.
Just needed to remove the spring bar guides.

I'm currently working on putting the JB logo on a sterile clasp for it.

Kind of eccentric I know, but fooled you didn't it hehe :)

Yes and its wonderful.

Spectacular watch indeed!
Thank you very much for sharing these images!
I wonder if you have time to discuss with us a few details:
-Can you please confirm the Case Diameter is 40mm and the Thickness is 13.5mm?
-If possible can you please send us a few photos of the caseback and movement?
-Also does the crown get unscrewed and pulled out to a date-adjustment and a time-setting position?
-Approximately what is the power reserve?

Enjoy in good health!

In order to replace the strap, did you have to get the curved bars? What size are they are they for the Barakuda? 20mm but how thick? Straight or curved?
