Wow! looks like you got a gen by accident. lol. Yah, the finish looks fantastic in the photos, I bet it's a stunner face to face. The only thing I have an issue with are the scallops in the bezel. The reps always seem to high and not centered if you know what I mean. Though I haven't spent enough time studying the gens either mind you.

I just got my new Deep sea sea dweller in the mail from Josh.....except for the one piece caseback...which Josh has already addressed like a professional I might add..I am blown away by this watch. I have been studying the Deep Sea for a few months now and I can't believe the quality of this watch!

Judging from the thickness of the numbers on the Bezel and the one piece case back, I think this is a V2 IMHO.....V3 haVE thin engraving Like this:

I'd say it looks like a V2 as well, still a beautiful watch mind you and great pics too. What colour is the lume and did you get a good price?

guys go back and look at the v2 pics...this watch looks nothing like the v2 it has a stunning besel insert with the thin lettering in fact one two pics back on this very thread some one posted the v3 under my pic and they are exaclty the same lol. I got the one piece back because if you read the forums the factories were running out of stock on the v3 and I guess to get some out they put in the case back of the v2...I will get my two piece next month.trust me I have put a pic of this watch on a gen rolex forum and they had no idea..the v2 could not come close imho.
