I'd add a thin layer of cloth to the pin when you hammer it out.Sharing a view of the pins and the links.
The circumference of my wrist is 16cm, just above the wrist joint bone - I removed all the links from the bracelet to get it fit.
The pins are easy to remove with a tool like Bergeron 7230.
I hate me for my swall wrist now. Like 16,8cm. But I will try itI have a small wrist , 6.5” , its very hefty on my wrist
The white is probably difficult to get exactly right. Most of the rep Royal Oak dials shine more like an aluminum foil. The gen has a warm and luxurious shine, hard to describe in words.Has anyone gotten a white dial in hand yet? If so, I’d love to see some IRL pics. I’ve seen pics of the gen and it seems like based on the lighting it’s either a shiny silver or a milky white hue. Personally I prefer the milky white dial color, but I’d like to see if the factory was able capture this accurately.

This looks beautiful. I love the rose gold chronograph but the full gold bracelet is a little too much for me haha. For this reason I typically wear offshore models with rubber straps, but I am eagerly researching and awaiting more reviews for the 26240This is great info, I have a flat 6.65" wrist so I think a croc strap would trim down the wrist presence of the watch. Time to reach out to my strap guy. An ink blue croc strap should do. Inspired by the rose gold version of the 26240.
I suddenly have the urge to sell my gen omega and buy 3 of these. It wouldn’t be stupid to buy both the rg and steel blue dials…. Right…. lolNot sure if already posted, but this is the release range from APFS
I’d definitely want some rubber straps for the steel one and a leather strap for the Rg too.
I wish you better luck. For a $300-400 rep I wouldn’t be super picky but for 800-900 I totally understand. Which dealer did you go with?
Screws are fine brother the problem is we have unrealistic expectations from reps we expect them to be at par with the pictures of gen we see on the brand website , attaching a picture of my gen for you to see the screws which are more or less same as repNot bad at all. Those bezel screw slots kill me. Think those can we replaced? Seriously, not hard to center a screw and slot it in the center.
Just imagine eight of these staring you in the face. I know we've all been waiting for these badly, and it's a great V1. Little things like this absolutely throw me into a plastic utencil at a fine steakhouse rage.
Maybe we can group buy a thousand of these to be made properly so we can swap them out.
