New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

Ive already posted my gen in this thread and as mentioned I’ll do a side by side comparison for some members who ordered the watch and is sending it to me for work. I like what I see from the pics posted by shiftayy. I hope the movement is reliable and we got the rep release of the year.

My brain is telling me I should wait for Legend’s side by side comparison before ordering. But my heart is telling me I should’ve placed an order the day it was announced the struggle is real

Impressive ! A game changer in AP chrono super clones! if they did this , i dont see why they cannot make offshores! Clearly APSF is capable of doing so…

They already said they will make 11.59 Chronos using this movement. APSF has made Offshores already. If I was a betting man I would bet they would come after they flesh out the AP offshore line.

Actually from what I see, and sincerely speaking you can go right ahead and order one if you like it. There’s nothing glaring I see so far which will stop me from ordering it if I’m in the game for one.

But the 26240 is something you can consider trying even if you’re not an AP guy. I think it’s pretty classic don’t you feel? The fact that you’re on this thread means that you have at least some interest in this watch.

I got a confession to make.

In a million years I would never consider an Offshore.

But I’m softening up on an ugly Offshore chrono if they end up making one. The titanium offshore is probably the best. It’s got ceramic pushers.

Well, on the QC I've just received, it doesn't seem to be that bad.
Maybe the 7th hour screw is not perfectly set, but I know I will be absolutely incapable of seeing it IRL.

I'm unsure whether it's been answered previously but are these movements exclusive to APSF?

Then again with dials looking this good I almost wouldn't bother waiting for ZF / other factories.

The green SS is stunning. The ceramic also of course, but wearing (even on select occasions) a watch that to 99.9% of observers looks like a gen fetching $130K+ is asking for trouble in these times. Be careful folks. One kid or youth influenced by Insta/TikTok and aspiring to be gangsta, or worse someone who is a thug sees that one your wrist, your place won't be raided by the police...

The good thing is soon they won't bother mugging us mere mortals wearing 20-40K APS
