Guys
I’m happy to answer your questions as I see it as natural curiosity. Please kindly allow me to answer it in 2 parts
1. From the pics I think the rep 26240CE looks pretty good. I like it myself. Of course there are small flaws but I don’t wish to magnify them disproportionately just because I have the gen.
2. I will be receiving 3 samples of the clone 26240CE ordered by members here and which will be sent to me for modding and service. I will be sending them comparo pics of the gen vs rep and my notes for their reference. If one of them wishes, he can post the pics and make the comparisons public for everyone to learn.
For what it’s worth at this moment, I think APSF did a very good job and I’m happy with the release. It is not 1:1 but it is accurate where it matters.
haha, you're right, but I can't sleep anymoreplease wait, they are on the way
This appears to be a very impressive movement replication. The only differences I can see are the regulated vs. free sprung balance (expected, and the designer did a great job hiding the regulation arm under the balance bridge), and the difference in the size of the case clamp screws. Obviously the engraving is slightly different, but that's only because we're looking at a macro photo that's flashing back and forth. I look forward to working on it. @puretime do we know who APSF partnered with for the movement? Was is Dandong or Shanghai?Take a moment to appreciate the comparison between AP 4401 Movement and APSF 4401 Super Clone Movement!
What is wanna know! Given it's SA4401, I have feeling it's not Dandong. This appears to be a very impressive movement replication. The chinese kept reaffirming what I've said for the longest time....Don’t worry they will fix everything by V5

"Let's find something to fuck up that's good in v2 for a v3 release...." Fix one thing, fuck another. Great recipe for making money.
What's next in V2? Fix the font on rotor and deliberately fuck the hand?
Contrary to everyone's beliefs, the Chinese ARE VERY VERY CAPABLE to create QUALITY and amazing stuff, they just don't wanna...
I’m in the same boat - need to at least see a photo of it first. It’s taking everything out of me to not impulse order lolIf that is the biggest issue, we are good.
I want to see photos of the blue dial, as I am hoping they did not mess it up.

Hope SW rescues usI'm most concerned about the green, since that's the one I want in addition to the black ceramic and white dial (both which I've already ordered). Whether it's the Santos or Nautilus, rep factories never seem to be able to get the green dials right where they're a vibrant forest green when viewed dead-on with direct light, but very dark (often appearing outright black) when viewed from an angle.

I think we need to see them in person first.Which dial color would you say that they will get reproduced the most accurately? To my eyes the green and the gray are very pleasing, but I cannot say how good these will get reproduced. Cheers.
So nice. I highly doubt the rep comes close to this though... just hoping the blue is decent.
