@Reaps wasn’t wearing the watch in that photo. I was. He politely disagreed with you.
Who hurt you. I have visions of someone beating you senseless with a larger watch on when you were a kid.
Yes, I also wear gshocks and for reasons you aren’t prepared to hear about. Have a nice night.
Small wrist gang,
pictures were supplied to hopefully help you in your decision making process. Decide for yourself.
Tbh this is why online watch discussions get toxic fast, everyone has different opinions about watches and cant fathom others breaking their standards.
Go to a watch event in real life and you'll find lots of small wrist guys wearing big watches but noone will say anything, big difference when you have to talk to them face to face versus between a screen.
One of my favorite watch instagrams is a Japanese dude, his wrist is small, but he wears 44mm and 47mm Panerai

.
I'm also a small wrist guy and I regularly wear over 40mm, I just like them, i don't really listen to online discourse about what you can or can't wear or whatever perceptions people have.
Guess I'm an idiot because I regularly wear above 40mm

, but I don't let online discourse affect the way I enjoy the watch hobby! If we did then we can only wear 34mm, no watches with tuxedos, anything over 12mm is too thick, Miyota movements are too loud so no Japanese watches with those movements, divers in a suit are a no go, no colorful dials if the outfit doesn't match, right? Forget about wearing Lange Datograph or Panerai because they're too big, stay in your lane! The hobby would be super unfun if I listened to every rule or opinion there is in the watch space.
We all have our own opinions and are entitled to them! That's the beauty of watches. What I like is not what others like. God forbid we all only liked Rolex.
