To anyone not aware, on frankens with Gen movements they take them from watches with similar movements. Now people have understood that so the movements are going for a lot these days. It’s like when you have these rebuilds like a ceramic Daytona or carbon Patek.

On another note it seems like at this point regarding the dial it makes a lot of sense to consider a custom dial and then no one would question you.

as i know Buff can build these ap15202 with gen mvt. Dont know what it cost tho never asked

Given the price of gold at usd 58 per gram and a case is around 250 grams

That works out to be 250x 58 x 0.75 = 10.8k usd

Quite a substantial mark up

This version case i have seen in most gold 3k and very little steel 3k before. But its wrong. If u look closely the crown on it is tugged inside the crown guard. but on wrist level it does look better.

Be aware of who u deal with. Price does matter in cnc gold case. Most cheap ass one have old case version with fat endlink , wrong crown guard. And most importantly the gold color variations. I have seen many cheap version looks like shit. And gold cnc case have very poor polishing on bracelet.
most cnc dealer does not have shop.
Guangzhou is the best place you go for rep.

Do you know any info about what the asking price of gen dials and gen movements of blue PP 5711 and APRO 15202 is in those Chinese circles you were referring?

Its a shame there are no TD that offer a cnc cases. Maybe something for them to consider in the future. Though I am curioius once the replacement hopfully comes between now and next year, Will it be easier or harder to franken a 5711 or 15202. It seems like the guys who want a 15202 franken will just switch to the 16202 as in essence its the same thing just a new dial and movement. The "6711" is panning out to be a bit of a bigger step.

I think that the 15202 posted are with rep dial, hands, etc… the only gen thing is the movement
