What's the thickness on the 42 subs out right now? I'd definitely be interested in a 42 bronzo

I am caught between two stools. The 47mm is a little bit too large, but the 42mm is too small for a Panerai. Imo for abronzo too big is far better then too small. The best solution however would be a 44mm, the perfect Pam-Size. So i hope, Panerai will go to 44mm ... maybee next year? ;-)

14,5mm ... but compared to the 44mm or 47mm Pams with a comparable thickness they seem a little bit more chunky, because the height distributes on a smaller diameter.

Is 14.5 around the same as a gen would be? 14.5 might deter me as I don't like overly thick watches

It is not easy to put this in numbers.

Here you can see a 683 (42mm) and a 111 (44mm) with nearly the same thickness ...

On the wrist the 111 ...

... look imo much "thiner" than the 683 ...

And to compare it with other watches here you can see a AP RO Diver, the Pam 683, a Rolex Sub and a PP Aquanaut

I hope this helps a little bit ;-)
