Guys, I can tell you some reasons, why I will order the 3K Green dial version of the 5711:
In general, I am a Rolex freak. I have built plenty of Franken and wrote some reviews on RWI as well. Usually I’m really sensitive if it comes to little details so don’t get me wrong. But first, I love the green dial since it was released. Second, I have neither had a genuine Nautilus in my hands nor I know anyone who owns one - what’s completely different to Rolex models. I know the gens and do also own some of them. That’s why I spot the differences. But there is zero (really zero) chance to get this model some day as a gen in my hands. So no need to waist my time with useless waiting or concentrating on details which I can’t compare in hands. Third, while building Franken watches I learned, that the movement is key. Once a movement is a gen spec clone, the case is also more gen spec and dial, hands, date disc etc can be replaced much more easily. Although the 324 movement is not the one which is used in 5711 green dial, I would order this model only for the reason of having a gen spec PP movement (regardless which one). Fourth, I have no clue what the future will bring but due to recent raids I fear that gen spec movements will become less in the future. It’s just my gut feeling. No evidence on that. But enough reasons for me, not to bother about wrong date disc, too thick end links or slightly too thick bezel (which can be reshaped most likely). Maybe I will put it in an aquanaut model one day. But owning one is better than not getting one anymore. My experience with TC Subs, Noob 4130 Daytona movements, Gen Hulk parts, 3235 VSF Datejusts etc etc has proven me, that it’s better pulling the trigger earlier than late.
