New 26420 Series from APF

please excuse my ignorance, this is what i have, bought from a td on here, unsure of the factory or model even, i buy what i like the look of so didn’t do much research, to be honest i thought it would be too big for me but i’m really liking it and it’s getting worn a lot, i’m intrigued about the mods people talk about and especially the 0.5mm thickness difference, i’m also looking at adding to my ap collection, hopefully now with some more knowledge gained from you guys, any input would be greatly appreciated

No it doesn’t. The datewheel position and it’s sunkenness tells me it’s not a clone movement.

Just checking with Angus that these are 43mm and not 44mm as listed. I quite like the Taupe dial, maybe not the right shade as gen, its more brownish, but its an interesting colour, quite like it.

Puretime has removed all JJF ROOs from its website, so only APF. Angus told me there was a raid a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone ordered a JJF in the last two weeks? Other dealers said there was no problem. Anyone have news on JJF?

The RG colour on these 43s should be the same as gen as the gen is pure RG, like Rolex, unlike the 44s which is more YG as the pics below show.

Personally I always had slight differences with the rose gold colour on AP reps. Had them gold plated after receiving them but none ever looks the same. Just the way gold (works) is exposed to the outside world I guess.

Any modder like AMF already able to fix the date wheel on those 43mm releases?

I have that gen AP RG ROO and a JJF RG Schumi and they are exactly as in that comparison pic, I presume the gen Schumi is also that YG/RG mix as I've never seen one but I could be wrong, but these new 43s seem to be just like the rep RG.

Guys, there is no one "gen rose gold color".
The color of the gen rose gold will vary given age, the environment, moisture, chemical composition of the skin it comes with contact with, sunlight, temperature and other factors.

Yes, it's a bit like the 26238 with its second @12 instead of 6. It's a little annoying...

I do like the 26238 (gen) myself as it provides more balance and aesthetic appeal to the dial (personal preference).
I do enjoy differentiation between the gens and reps myself. I do appreciate reps but being a gen collector myself I don’t want reps to look exactly the same as the gens I own.

Maybe we are living in the last years where the rep will still be quite far from the gen ones, gen owners should enjoy
