The Apf factory exclusively develops the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Series 26420, and purchases the original 1.1 to build. The whole watch adopts the latest German cnc technology, and every detail is synchronized with the original. , literally adopts the latest vertical and horizontal grid surface, domineering and luxurious, the movement uses the strongest Dandong movement, and the appearance is a replica of the original 4401 movement, so that the front and back are indistinguishable from the original. The first batch is limited and first come first served. The first batch of colors are: 1, rose gold panda eyes, 2, hottest desert yellow smoked plate, 3, classic blue plate with white eyes, 4 gray plate with blue eyes, 5, classic wild white panda.

Rather than the original pics used in the ad above, Puretime has listed each model. Despite the flaws, I do like that brown dial.

Pics to compare to the original here: https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/watch-collection.html?keyword=26420

My unsolicited advice is not to rush to purchase. There are details which need to be fixed like the datewheel font, and depending on the model, the dial and bezel colors, and others. The taupe dial and straps colors are totally off for example. The “limited run” statement is just a gimmick to induce market interest.
When the factory releases a new model they are looking to sell as many as possible and if there is a “limited run” it is only to test the market for response and feedback. So waiting can be beneficial to potential buyers.

Yes it seems to be a promising release but wait a bit and you can maybe get something a lot better.

For a first attempt these look pretty good. I'll wait until further reviews and see how robust the 7750 is on these. I always worry about the modified second position on these 7750 movements.

I had some horrible experiences in the past and I've also had some really good experiences with these movements.

Reading the original post I don’t think it’s using the 7750 movement. But given the Chinese marketing hype one can never be sure.

It's 2023. Every AP I have with a 7750 runs like a champ.

Actually the black , blue and RG are not too bad and from previous experience with APF, the actual visual look at QC level is a lot better than new release picture in TDs website and they actually have a thickness of 15.5 as per the last 44mm i had from APF , with some modification can reach 15mm. I think this has a potential to be visually better than the 42mm burger case.

On the puretime website it says base 7750.

So all these APs with second @12 and second @6 are all good now? I haven't bought one of these APs for few years. What has changed to the movement transfer gears to make them reliable? This was an issue for years and years but you are right that I havent seen too many threads of ppl complaining. There used to be heaps of those threads in the past.

Thank you. I didn’t check the puretime website and I was just reading the description posted by the OP.

I tend to think many people just bang around their watches and are not careful with them. But I can tell you from experience that the current movements are much better. I know it's taboo but I like to run the chronos every once in a while

Reading about all these chrono movement problems makes me appreciate the Noob v4 4130 clone movement and what it has done to rep world

saw this on puretime

the promo pic as usual uses gen pics. Just recently saw the sand colored version in an AP boutique… i like the presence of those new 43mm models

first thing i noticed was (as legend mentioned before) the date font but also the date window placement. Gen is lower and touches black ring

anyway, good first try and exciting times lay ahead if the news about a 4401 caliber super clone movement turn out to be true.

I think a lot of experienced factories will rep the chronographs and will push each other to hopefully great reps

can’t wait

Dial colors wise you have summed it up perfectly. The grey dial one has the wrong bezel color and the smoked taupe dial is the worst looking one for me.
