New 15500 custom dial from Dapeng

I really would like to hear from you about the pros and cons of this custom dial, especially the black and blue variants.

My observations about dapeng are very negative but the dials might be well made.

Tappiserie is pretty awesome

"AUDEMARS PIGUET" font is pretty thick compared to gen and also its tilted (maybe its because its the prototype and they will fix it)


Nothing to comment for the black wich is the easiest color to replicate

For the blue, its pretty good. Maybe not so deep-metalic that gen has, but this could be lighting etc...

Here a blue i had in my hands a while ago, so you can compare tappiserie-color

The brand text is too bold and crooked (might be fixed), indices are crooked (might be fixed), the colour and tappiserie is pretty good, but the pantograph pattern is too shallow, hence the lesser metallic effect (lighting and other usual suspects apply too). For any further assessment, we really need a higher res photo, so if @j21 would happen to have one, would love to have a look.

I hated the 155. Now I like it more than the 154.

I have a gen 15300 and this DP dial is very similar in terms of the tone of blue and the sunburst. Very well done.
