Just arrived from the big G. Bought this from Sead, and as always he's great to deal with. Overall impression is that the watch is superbly well finished. Brushings are very even, even the bracelet screws are extremely well done (just a notch below the TC v3).
Everything lines up as it should. Bezel is a bit tight with excellent click feel. The bezel ... oooooh the bezel. Definitely ceramic with perfect texture (just came back from the AD at the mall to compare). Also, many people comment on the color of the bezel numbers, these look excellent. Off white metallic in color, I couldn't tell the difference at the mall (the lighting there is different obviously). The pearl is great guys, glass coated, refelects light, just very very nice.
The rehaut lines up perfectly (posted further below on the first page of this thread). The coronet lines up at 12, R in rolex at 9 etc .. very nice and clean engravings on the rehaut.
The biggest flaw is on the dial as you guys know, there needs to be a mm more space between officially and certified. I'm ok with it for sure, can't tell from a foot away, need to be at least 8-10 inches from the watch to see the spacing. I can't believe the quality in this watch for the 215-230 that this goes for at the dealers. If you have one on the way, congrats, I think you'll love it. I never had a noob sub c so i can't compare to that, but the finishing on this is as good as any of the super reps i own.
Oh almost forgot. SEL fit is tight and excellent. I think there is a tiny bit more ridge on the gen when you run over the joint with your fingers, but it's a fraction of a mm difference. I took some of the case back, too ... so please chime in with your thoughts on caseback thickness. It looks good to me.
EDIT#1: I took side profile photos (they are on this first page lower down) showing the bezel insert sits about 0.5 mm above the bezel, another flaw!
