New 113/114??

For what it's worth, I absolutely LOVE this watch, even if the dial/subdial are not 1:1 it's a beauty and for only $258....

But this is coming from someone who is not anal and does not nitpick these reps. If someone is 1" away from your watch you have a problem anyway. Plus not to mention the movement is a dead giveaway...just saying.

My question was not meant to trash on your watch only to acquire more information. I am always looking for better parts for my builds, so please don't take it the wrong way........

I didn't take it the wrong way at all, I admire your skills and builds and know your just looking out for the whole community. It also blows my mind you knew how to look for the recessed/raised portion of the dial, I would have never thought to think about shadows.

I was just implying that I am a collector who doesn't have to have a 100% accurate replica, I wear the watches because I like the style and if its not exactly 1:1, it doesn't bother me at all.

I too am curious how the genuine dial is, and when I get some time on a desktop I am going to search for macro shots of a gen 113 just to see how the subdial really is and should be, and how the black paint is applied. You can see the rings in the paint on this new rep.

Another thing, I was never attracted to the white dial Pams, so I don't know this, but how were the previous 113 dials? Did they have the subdial rings?

Good, I'm glad there are no hard feeling, we are here to help each other not hurt. Thanks for the kind words.

The older ones were just flat just like the rest of the dial, the only distinction it had as a sub dial were the indices. None of the current dials out now are perfect nor do I think they will ever be. Lets see what noob comes out with. :cheers:

OK, but Noob is not either a guarantee.
See the fiasco of PAM 360 after a year of waiting !!
We will expect better results with these watches.

I cant wait for the noob any longer on this. Just ordered the h fact 113 too. Will do some macro shots when it arrives.

This 113/114 has been my grail piece for too long. I wanted to wait for Noob but man, cant wait no more!! H fact still has the advantage of the super clear crystal over the noob i think.

After all, if the problem is the subdial, then get the 114. Issue gone!

I have the same 113 with me for mod works but not 114 .
If I have the new 114 , I can do the compare with my Gen. 114H .
