New 113/114??

I noticed on Sead's page a listing for a new 113/114.

Anyone have any info on these, factory, etc?

Honestly it's hard to tell. It has a whole bunch of circles 'engraved' into the dial, so maybe it is recessed slightly? It's super hard to take a picture of it with my phone.

From all the pictures I've seen it seems to have the concentric circles on top of the dial not recessed as the gen.

If anyone has more info. on this your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, its a wonderful dial, pops very nice. I didn't think I would like a white dial Pam but it has grown on my very much and I haven't taken it off my wrist yet.

I cannot agree with you 100%
Like I said, its very very hard to get a good photo showing what I mean.
It looks like rings were 'etched' or 'engraved' into the dial because it does not look raised up at all. I will continue to try to get a photo with my phone and will bust the DSLR out later and see if I can capture it with that.

I think that is what he is talking about, but to my eye it does not look like its raised at all, it looks like the rings are engraved into the dial, NOT raised up. I saw a gen 113 once but cannot remember looking at the second subdial closeup.

TO the naked eye it looks like the rings are cut into the dial, but these photos look like they are raised up a little, but I dont know how that would be possible. I think its just playing tricks on our eyes. It would make more sense to just 'cut' the rings into the dial...right?

Here is what I meant, I used your own picture to demonstrate what I mean.

If the sub dial was recessed the top would cast a shadow on to the inside of the sub dial at the top instead it reflects the light and the bottom of the sub dial casts the shadow. This tells me the sub dial is raised not recessed, I've noticed this on all the new 113 pictures that is why I asked. I have one on the way and I'll know better then.

Thanks for the close up pictures, that's what I needed to see. It does seem to be slightly raised. Once I receive the one I ordered I'll post pictures.

This would be for a metalic dial made by machining
This dial is most likely made of plastic by inyection in a mould. In this case the situation is inverted: it is easier to make the mould like a machined recessed dial and the the moulded piece becomes raised.

But how is actually the gen subdial??

Raised for sure. It almost looks like a sticker to give the appearance of a milled circle.

What gets me is the circles are on the black paint? Is the gen like that? I would think the paint would be on top of the circles

Still does not look close enough to me.. The whole enamel look and feel of the gen dial is missing... Looks too plasticky.
