Need Help replacing crystal on Clean GMT II Sprite to deep crystal

Hello everyone quite new to this hobby and need help
I like mechanical things and is the main reason I got into this hobby to learn how to work in watches

I'm attempting (foolishly, I know) to replace crystal on a Clean GMT II Sprite to a deep crystal w/ LES

I have gotten as far as removing movement and bezel
I tried to use press to pop it out and it did not budge
-please please help

The scalloped part serves two purposes....half of the "click" for the bezel and, the crystal retaining ring. As such it has to come off too. I use a flat thin blade, working my way round it, being careful not to scratch the case.
