Hi,

I have come across this particular 42mm LMPO for sale and I am not sure how to know whether this is a Genuine watch or one of Noob's Super Rep.
I hope that you all can help me to determine whether it is a genuine LMPO.
Below is the picture given to me.
Thanks

It's a rep. The front flipper on the seahorse is flat. It is more contoured on a gen.

Thanks for the input bro.
I am still waiting for the movt shot and the certificate.

I also notice the gap between the front flipper and the edge is bigger compared to the gen picture you gave.

Hi, I´m no specialist at all in these but just expressing my honest opinion. If this is a gen - it´s not worth spending Your money on it, most reps I´ve seen on here in the Omega-section do look better. Triple-check it and rethink about.

Thanks.
Is it because of the condition?
If this is a gen, I am absolutely going to buy it.
Mainly because this is the limited edition LMPO and I have been eyeing for this model for quite sometimes.

My problem is determining whether this is a gen or not.
As i said earlier, I am still waiting for the movt shot and the certificate

Definitely a rep for me. The date window isnt cut sharply enough and has rounded edges whereas the gens are sharp angles. Look at this in the gen pictures. This is one of the few tells. Also why has all the paint come out of the lettering on the back, some guys had problems with this on the rep. Looks like someone has deliberately knackered the look of this so they can say they've reduced the price and its now a bargain due to the condition, which is a scam. Caveat emptor big time here bro.

Ps look at the bottom of the 2 in the 12 marker. Its crooked and not aligned with the writing below another problem with lmpos

The 12 looks way off to me, not straight at all. Second hand is orange (but that may just be the flash)

https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb...mited-Edition-Planet-Ocean-42mm-(LMPO)-Review @momiloco Thats my pretty detailed review of the rep. It is very hard to tell much from these photos as they are not very clear and badly taken. The sec. hand looks orange to me and that is not a good sign. Just remember there were only 1,900 of these made so they are rarer than hen's teeth, without the perfect paper trail and true AD certification, I would not go near it. If someone own's a real one they know what they have.

In my article there is a link to the real deal forum. You will see people express their concerns that the 2013 LMPO rep. was so good, that it put the fear in them not to buy a used LMPO.

If you do buy it make sure you are protected and can get your money back 100%, if when you take it to Swatch SC to get get checked, it turns out to be an A2824 or even old re-furbed ETA in it's heart. Caveat emptor big time on this watch.

The seller have not come back with the papers and the movt shot.

It is fake!Look "Swiss Made" ...isn't centered
If that was a gen. I would be relying on Noob to make my watches not Omega lol. This is my 2015 rep. You would really need to have the gen and rep. side by side with a loupe and someone very au fait with this model to tell the difference on a visual inspection. My watch maker had it under his loupe for more than a minute. His only comment after that was "This is really good, You really have to look very close and you would not believe the flaws I see on genuines".
