Yes. It's true that they will discontinue this model due to the complexity of parts sourcing and long assembly time.

After the initial and perfect V1 batch the quality of the Noob BPFF declined and - in parallel with V2 - a cheap offering (cheapo V1 with normal screw and later cheapo V2 with hexscrew, both with mismatching and weaker lume) were released. Imho with all the confusion going on, sales must have dropped too.
It still could be just a myth.
If it´s true, it´s sad, because imho it´s one of the best ever made reps otb until now, side by side even specialists cannot tell which is gen as the gens have minor variances too.

Wow. I bought this when it firsts came out and still love it. It's my dressy watch. Get tons of compliments on it. I also have compared it to gen pretty closely and it almost 100%. This watch is what got me into the rep world.

I miss my BPFF from the first batch. (I dropped it and the perfect bezel cracked). So it seems we have to wait to shoot one via M2M.

If v1 quality came back I would buy it, and I'm not alone. Hopefully dealers can relay this to noob factory.

I would second the comment above by Daywatch that because Blancpain's are so custom there are minor variences. I have the first run BPFF and the No Radiations version as well. I have stopped in the flagship store in NYC as well as two boutiques in Vegas and I cant tell the diff from a gen and I'm not sure the sales people could. Maybe a watchmaker could. Yea, these are the best out of the box reps I have owned. BTW I have not seen a No Radiations at the stores so can't compare that

True, but only if you own the V1. If you own later batches, you will immediately notice the wrong coloring and fonts of the bezel. I ALREADY made a comparsion in Blancpain area.

Lucky for me that I have the V1. It's probably the only rep I will never sell

I am very angry about myself dropping my V1 and the bezel cracked. I have never had a better and more gen like rep than this. Sad moment! But when you recognise the quality of the first batch, you will know it is not worth anymore to go for the Gen and spend around 13.000k €.

so been lurking for a while..am a big fan of the bff, just wondering pamholic, why didn't you end up just buying an oem bezel to replace? still cheaper than the gen..i ended up getting oem lug bars and screws for mine from an ad...
