I just called with TNT Belgium and asked about my shipment.

So they told my i have to wait about it because TNT will check all shipments coming from Asia. It does no matter from wich country it comes they will check it if the items are inside the shipment are originals and no reps. If they found a rep the will destroy it at all.
So nice to know that for 99% my watch will be destroeyd by fucking belgium customs

Thxx TNT:evil:

Greetings navi

Dallas, Spanish and Belgium Customs are very harsh on packages coming from asia.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

That is realy a shame because a few days ago i had also a shipment from Asia, but with EMS and that was no problem with the delivery. I Think it is because of TNT

Personally from my experience all the 'non postal' carriers are just a headache.

They have such a 'cosy' relationship with customs....religiously raising huge duty charges (when ordinary postal service would have accrued NONE) or else doing customs job for them re reps etc.

Theyre not worth the hassle :?

Certainly... listen to narikaa. I think safest way is still registered air mail or EMS.

I don't understand anyone using DHL/TNT/FedEx/etc. for sending reps. It's not the brightest thing one can do.

I also have a "package" sitting in Dallas customs since Oct 30th. Its showing "Inbound" to customs so I called the US PO and they tell me that since the package is :inbound" they have not actually received it so they can not tell me anything about it. Any inquiry as to why the package has not cleared customs would have to be on the part of the original shipper. :( I'm still holding out some hope that it will show up but each day that passes has me beieve they nabbed it.

This brings up the question of who is responsible for a lost/confiscated package? I know a lot of people have different views on this. Most of our dealers will work with you and hopefully you asked your dealer BEFORE you ordered what their policy is. IMO, if a dealer is able to show me proof that he indeed shipped the package he is no more the blame for the package goin missing as the man in the moon. Why is it the dealers fault? What did he do wrong? We all know what we're dealing with here and confiscation is part of the game. Its been said many times that if you can't afford to lose the money you shouldn't be ordering reps. Words of wisdom.

With all that said, some of our dealers will send another watch, some will split the cost of the loss, and some will tell you they sent it and its now your watch. Again, ask the question of what happens BEFORE you order. If you didn't ask then its upon yourself to work with the dealer to resolve.... up to and including taking the loss yourself.

Now, about those Azzholes at the Dallas customs office......... lol!

I was thinking maybe they had other customers experienced the same thing lately and the final outcome, if the items have been confiscated or if its just taking a long time in the customs.

Dealer told me before ordering, new watch would be send on his costs when seized by customs.
But its not a real solution on long term....he can't keep busy sending watches forever till you finally got your order

Some of our dealers will cover customs seizures. I'm sure it is just factored in as a cost of doing business.

Yes Andreww, i'm aware of it, but still.....why dealer took risk by sending with freight company instead of regular mail?....maybe no experience sending to my country?....i don't know :?

I was expecting this after watch beeing more then 3 weeks on hold.

I will contact dealer and look for agreement.
Resend it is no option i guess...customs seems to be very strickt here.

From now on... just order from the dealers who ship from EU (Precious Time and Narikaa)... or buy your reps pre-owned from EU-based trusted members.

That's what I do... saves me from a lot of hassle and stress. I've had lots of customs trouble with ALL my Asian-based shipments. When your watch comes from another EU country there's GUARANTEED no customs hassle.

Both of these guys have perfect track records. And there's not a rep done that these guys can't source for me.
