finally got some real pics... there's a little piece of fuzz I didn't notice when taking the pics near 10 o'clock, so ignore that!

I have one of these myself but never been 100& happy with the hour markers.
After looking at the quality of this it blows mine out the water (and I thought mine was OK).
Could you please point me in the wright direction to get the dial mods done?
Or anywhere I could buy a replacement dial.

For those of you still following this thread... watch has been with PB Dad for a few months now, he's just gotten to starting his work on her now. We are doing some additional mods, a new case and trying to fit a gen bezel and insert on her. Fingers crossed that it is possible!
Also, if anyone knows exactly how the gen bezel is held on, please post your info here... apparently there is no exact explanation on how it is held on to the case!

finally got some good news from PB, he and his machinist were able to make a disc needed to fit my Gen bezel! He test fit it on my spare case and is now measuring for the holes that he needs to drill to fit the gen Rolex springs and click mech! Once he perfects that he'll be doing the same thing on my new case then hoping everyone fits and functions as per gen.

So what exactly does the disc do? Is it just a spacer to get the correct height? Or does it replicate a part of the gen case that the rep case lacks?

we're slowly progressing! new update... drilling the test holes /test rehaut to fit the gen click mech...

I have both gen and rep of this watch. The bezel and insert really make this watch have it's characteristic shine that the reps still haven't been able to match. Good luck with this

updates are coming more often now!
The gen bezel has been fit to the noob case, click mech works as per gen. The only remaining issue is that apparently the bezel can be removed fairly easily (by just a little force pulling with two fingers). PB thinks he has a solution and will be updating me soon!
How good does this look!?? Hoping the build will be completed fairly soon and I can show you completed pictures!

My first rep was a v6 DSSD noob from Ryan, and I am still in love with it, but would like to get it closer to gen so we'll talk PM. Meanwhile, I agree with this post...the curved triangle in your case and many others appears to be an optical illusion caused by the curve of the bezel. Look closely....that curve in the bezel and the relative position of the triangle to the bezel conspires to create the illusion of curvature in the top of the triangle which is parallel to the curved bezel.

Awesome build, very impressive. I'd love to recreate this same build but I have a feeling I would have a heck of a time finding a gen DSSD bezel and insert. Congrats on that.
