This is very nice work bro, you've made a piece that looks really good!

I'm curious about the origin of the base - you said it was a TWF but there are some significant differences to TWF that make that seem unlikely.

The biggest difference is the bezel. TWF is indeed one of the slightly smaller Skydweller reps, and has a 70 "flute" bezel. The flute triangles have a wider base like an isosceles triangle. The gen has a 70 flute bezel.

All of the other major Skydweller reps (Noob, JNF, JWF) are slightly larger in diameter and have a 72 flute bezel. These flutes have a narrower base relative to the sides, more like an equilateral triangle. You can see the flute triangle shape difference by eye.

The next significant difference between the TWF and OP samples is the width of the date window. TWF has a much narrower date window like the gen, but they made the numbers much too large relative to the window size. There is no way OP's date number and window (which look great) are like the TWF.

zgvOqo.jpg

Next to gen, this rep date window is wider (confirming larger dial size), and the font is slightly too bold. But it is hands down the closest rep presentation I've seen.
zgvYTJ.jpg

Next difference from TWF is the hour hand. TWF's is more gen-like, having a lume plot that ends further away from the hand tip.

Also note another difference in this pic - TWF's GMT wheel incorrectly uses equidistant spacing of the dot between the numbers 8 -10. The gen and all the other major rep wheels place that dot where it should go on the arc in degrees, which is closer to the 1 in 10.

So +1 and -1 for OP's sample, but both different from TWF.

You can easily see these two differences on this gen

Next difference from TWF is the movement. TWF does not have a deco plate and looks totally different, like a regular DG2813 from the bottom. Ofc it's modded to 5833.

zg7UJ1.jpg

So we've seen reasons why this sample is not likely a TWF. The reason I decided to point this out is so people don't go running after a TWF expecting to get something like the OP has. The TWF is not a great Skydweller rep IMO, unless of course there is a new version of it that no TD is listing and no one is talking about.

So which rep most closely resembles the OP's?

Let's compare and see. Keep in mind that post raid, factories are popping up ad-hoc and putting pieces together that may have short production runs and different part sources between small batches.

Also Puretime, Intime, and Jtimewatch are now only listing Noob (and TWF at Puretime) Skydweller reps. No further mention of JWF or JNF at these TDs. So have they all consolidated back as a new Noob?

JWF compare - dial coronet spire balls are too small, red triangle is too close to ROLEX. Hour hand lume plot is the same

JNF compare - could be a match, upper dial elements are alike, hour hand is not

New Noob compare - could be a match, upper dial elements are alike, hour hand is not
zgvPxj.jpg

So my guess is this is one of these three, since it has similarities to all of them and given the cobbling of pieces together it could be any one.

A couple of final mentions

The OP GMT wheel is very nice, it has texture to it like the gen.

But I have to ask, what happened to this dial?? Did it come with these huge ripples and waves or that was stress effects from modding? Yikes.

zg7eOK.jpg

Pre raid Noob dial was flawlessly smooth. The center dial section is double-sided taped on so caution to anyone attempting removal. Handle with care.

Enjoy your piece, bro it is arguably the best around. Kudos for the effort and skills!

Just Wow!!
Thank you so much for taking so much time to point out all these details!!
Really appreciate it🙏

To be honest-i can not really say what the base is!!
I definetly had an pre-raid Noob Skydweller in parts at home and had the idea to complete it-so i bought a damaged TWF Skydweller. When i tried to rebuild it i found out that lots of parts doesn‘t fit together and that it‘s not possible to complete my old Noob… but now i wanted to wear my Skydweller again even more!!!
So i talked to my TD if he could get me a new Skydweller in the same quality that the Noob once was…No chance!!
Two weeks later he wrote to me that he found an NOS Noob Skydweller for me.
Of course i bought it, even if i was not believing that this really was an old Noob.
The QC pics were pretty good…
In my hands i was sure that this is definetly not an old Noob…but who cares!
I‘ve had enough parts to build an awesome watch!
And thats what i did💪
But now (thanks again for your amazing comarison) i have some work to do and need to get some flaws right🧐

Thank you🙏
The name says it all…ya‘ll know that its true!!😅
Actually its pretty easy. You just need to find and get a 4813 movement. The Slum highbeat version of the 2813. The 5833 movement is based on the 2813 as well. So switching internals is allmost plug’n play. You can use all drivetrain parts from the 4813. Balance wheel and hairspring also from 4813 and the balance Bridge from 5833. The hardest part is getting the main bridge/automatic back on top without damaging anything. All these tiny little pins need to slip in their jewels at the same time. After you managed this all you have to do is to adjust the balance wheel and enjoy your highbeat Skydweller 👌

Thanks for the info! (y) I have been warned about the combined bridge and that it is a nightmare to put that back on, so I won't risk it on one of my skydwellers. You're skills must be amazing (or your patience. Probably both :ROFLMAO:)

But since these movements are not expensive I will maybe just try someday to convert spare movements into a highbeat, and if against all odds I am successful with that I might end up swapping it in. Very cool, well done.
