Actually, many are bug-eyed telescopic freaks. Nice guys, but horological freaks none-the-less!
It's a very nice watch with a good solid movement. If you start talking "upgrade" around here, you'll get all kinds of guys helping you along. Personally, enjoy it for what it is (I have one virtually identical). If you want to start upgrading the watch you will open a can of worms that will never cease - always getting one step closer to the perfection which can never be attained. You will end up changing the movement, and the dial, and the cg, and the cannon pin fix, and the hands, and the crystal, and the lume, and the crown, and the... Trust me... I've seen it too many times. You'll end up with a $1000 watch that is still flawed, and that you could have bought for hundreds less.
If you really want to upgrade that watch, just save your money and starting talking to DSN about buying a really top-notch (but not perfect!) example. When you get close, sell this one to help fund the new one.
Welcome to the obsession!
