I'm a Noob here with just a few purchases. That exact 390 was my first purchase. I love it. It might be all downhill from here.

Pics are very deformed and a bit out of focus due to low focal distance

CG usually is less rounded at external edges

I tried several straps and decided for Peter Gunnys Dark Oil:

Yes, you can find Peters Straps at http://gunnystraps.blogspot.com/
This strap is called dark oil. The pictures on Peters site shows a heavily used strap with much patina. My picture shows the strap you will get.
I recommend to tell Peter to make the tail piece as thick as the buckle piece.

Amazing watch.. I'm going to buy my first PAM and I absolutely want a noob 390, how is the asso strap that comes with it? I've read that they are usually garbage but judging from the photos it seems different from the others rep, is it the same rep strap we can buy as a separated item from all the TD's? Need to change it or not? Thanks!

Asso strap is good in my opinion. The color compliment the watch. Not soft at first, but after awhile it wears comfortably.
I ended up putting the asso back to the watch because I like the color
