MY Order - "live timeline"

I ordered a "Daytona 116500 Clean Factory 1:1 Best Edition 904L SS Case and Bracelet White Dial SA4130".
For those who are interested, here is the daily progress and my feelings about it.

17.08.22 - I "accidentally" saw videos of "Super Clones" on Youtube. I was hooked and decided to replace my 120€ Turkey Bazaar replica. Even though I was satisfied with it until now, the chronograph function doesn't work, the indices are totally crooked and there are sharp edges everywhere - that bothered me a lot after watching the expert videos.

17.08.22 - I found this forum via google, registered, asked a few stupid beginner questions and found JTime as "my preferred partner".

18.08.22 - I watched many Youtube videos and comparison reports (Noob <-> CF <-> BTF).

19.08.22 - I chatted with Li via WhatsApp. He was very friendly and helpful. I placed an order on his shop page. But I didn't pay right away. This was also because neither my credit card provider (Amazon) nor my bank (Targo) allowed money transfer to China -> "for my own protection".

20.08.22 - My wife declared me crazy. So I really want to transfer 885€ (incl. fees) to a Chinese person I don't know at all, without the slightest possibility of seeing my money again? All this only via the usual scamer payment functions (Bitcoin, westernunion, PP FF)?

21.08.22 - My brain is rattling, the whole thing doesn't really let me sleep.

22.08.22 - Li very patiently answers a lot of my beginner nerve questions. Very patient.

22.08.22 - I come to the point of not listening to my voice of rationality (my wife) and risking the money. Inwardly, the money has already been written off, in the worst case as teaching money. I pay Le and he sends me a "Received". Among other things, I was told to wait patiently for my QC photos for 5-10 working days.

23.08.22 - Nothing happens.

24.08.22 - Nothing happens.

25.08.22 - Still nothing happens. It looks like I'm not one of the lucky ones for whom it goes exceptionally quickly -> see reports from other people here in the forum. I haven't received any QC pictures yet. So far there is nothing in the SPAM mailbox either. I guess I have to stay patient, they said 5-10 working days. As a precaution, I put the email addresses I was given on the white list in GMX today.

26.08.22 - A look after waking up in my email box, yay, my QC Pics have arrived. Today early in the morning (5:00), probably because of the time difference to China. I will check the pictures later at my own, after a happy breakfast. My wife will also look at it, she has eagle eyes.

Yes, the old timers can be very introverted about things that don't suit their tastes. Unfortunately.

This has nothing to do with being introverted but with experience.

These timelines do not make any sense (especially for newbies), because the timeline of your order can differ enormously from the order timeline of another user. This has various reasons: e.g. availability of the watch from the factory (can take between days or months... or even be cancelled), public holidays in China, pandemic measures in China, different shipping routes and many more. No order is directly comparable to another. It is absolute nonsense to post these strange timelines. And it does no one any good. I think it’s a stupid behavior new users observed at Reddit or so? Don’t know… As BMW said, once THE WATCH ARRIVED you can write a SHORT nice review in the TD review section - that’s it. Otherwise the forum would be overloaded with „timelines“ from every user.

However, I found these timeline entries the best and most useful:

We reviewed the images together. It is recommended not to do this alone. The more eyes the better. There are also forums that can help you -> just google them. We found a few flaws, I asked Lana ( she is the "quality manager") via email response, from whom I got the photos, to comment. I also asked for another video and 2 more pictures. Let's wait and see what comes of it.

I believe sharing QC images is not allowed under the forum rules. However, we can have private messages. I have an imperfection within one of my QC images, I will share that image later, but after consulting/commenting with JTime. However, your images have definitely helped me a lot already, along the lines of "how is this and that with others?". Thanks for that.

Age has nothing to do with it.
Some of the 'old timers' are the ones that created this free to read forum many years ago.
Some of the 'old timers' are TDs who've been selling on the forum for many years.
Some of the 'old timers' are staff that keep the forum running on a daily basis.
Some of the 'old timers' have exceptional knowledge of rep watches and contribute to the forum on a daily basis, making the forum a more enjoyable place for all members.

If everybody on the forum was under 25 years of age then RWI would look like reddit - millions of members, but only a small handful who actually know what they're talking about.
If you want to post a timeline thread on your purchase that's your choice, but it's been done hundreds if not thousands of times before. The only possible interest it could have for the general membership is if it's in regards to a newly appointed Trusted Dealer, which isn't the case here.

It is highly recommended not to do this alone. The more eyes the better. There are also forums that can help you -> just google them (e.g. reddit). We found a few flaws, I asked Lana ( she is the "quality manager") via email response, from whom I got the photos, to comment. I also asked for another video and 2 more pictures. Let's wait and see what comes of it.

3h later - Lana responded quickly and sent me the additional pictures and videos I requested. Excellent service !!! However one point is still open - I have had to made my original question more specific. I think neither of us are native English speakers, so sometimes something is unintentionally lost in the translations. I hope Lana goes into her well deserved weekend now, like I do. I hope to get an answer from her at the beginning of next week. After that, I think, nothing stands in the way of an "Approve".

In any case, the result was that everything looks great. For the non-professionals like me, the value at the top left is decisive. It should be max +/- 12 s/d to be acceptable.
