This missing invoice situation must be lost in translation surely. What invoice would I have that I can provide? I sent a package, I didn’t provide any service I can show an invoice for

Did you provide customs information?

All international shipments require what Nik is referring to as an "invoice". I'm not sure what AUS requires, but I'm sure you have to fill out some form for exporting goods. It's not a matter of a service being performed, but a declaration page.

I'm not sure this is really Nik's problem. You shipped the piece. He isn't responsible for something out of his control when he already recommended something. Your going to have to contact whoever is holding your package to figure out what is needed.

I'm not sure this is really Nik's problem. You shipped the piece. He isn't responsible for something out of his control when he already recommended something. Your going to have to contact whoever is holding your package to figure out what is needed.
Yes it had the customs declaration. It wouldn’t have been able to leave Australia without one, they are strict on this. This isn’t my first time sending something overseas

I haven’t said Nik is responsible for my package being stuck in customs. My frustration stems from previously good communication halting the moment my package gets stuck. I emailed Nik on 11 May and 28 June with no response, emails he now says he does have, I emailed again last week, again no response. Both Italian Post and Australia post keep saying the same thing, the addressee needs to contact them to have the item cleared for delivery.

I’m not really sure what else it is I can do, even my 1 Italian speaking friend has tried to help but Italian customs keep saying the same thing and providing phone numbers that can’t be called from overseas. I’ll guess I’ll just take this one on the chin

That all seems odd. I've never had issues with me needing to contact then for a customers package. Although I only accept from Canada or CONUS.

I do get it on the communication...but just understand the absurd amount of PMs, Whatsapp messages, and emails these guys get. I hardly do a fraction of what they do, and I sometimes have trouble keeping up with responses. Emails quickly go to the bottom of an inbox when you have 50 coming in one day.

It was declared low value $50 as all my packages are to avoid this issue. I’m thinking it’s possible they have opened it and seen a sparkling new two tone Rolex case and bracelet and thought there’s no way this is worth $50.

I understand the amount of emails etc you guys get which is why I’ve sent only 3 since April, I’ve definitely exercised patience. But for Nik to say I’ve had no emails from you then say in a pm that you’ve had a few but didn’t see it as your problem so you didn’t respond seems a bit shit.

That may be the very reason...

I have been talking to Nik via pm and have apologised for venting my frustration at him. I’ve been banging my head against a wall going in circles between Italian post and Italian customs and took some of this out on Nik undeservedly.
