If you would like to sell the strap that was mounted on your 111 on the pics of the beginning of this thread pls let me know :whistling:
Hi guys... just got my noob pam 111 v4 with rubber strap and i love it.... i just have 1 concern... are the crown guards supposed to be matte in finish unlike the blezel which is shiny? Ive been seeing pictures of gen crown guards which are shiny same as the blezel... should it be matte or shiny?

Thanks kabayan, didnt know there were alot of Filipinos here... hehe.. Do you mean it changed to brushed on the noob? Or it changed to brushed on the gen?Kabayan, it is true, the PAM111 used to have shiny crownguards. It changed to brushed (that's what we call it, not matte) on the H-series, which also saw the switch from sausage to sandwich dial and the movement decoration switch back from the "PANERAI PANERAI PANERAI" graffiti decoration to the Cote de Geneves (CdG) decoration you know see in current models.

Looks great! I ordered the same watch about a month ago but was told that it wasn't available... Maybe it's time to re-order!

I can't wait to find out
LOL!!! It's an optical illusion caused by the angle of the crystal in relation to the eye, and the light being shadowed in the dial cutouts due to the angle. ;-)
You can really see the effect of this illusion while looking at the "@" in the 12 position. It really brings this out in this posted pic.
It makes the left upper tip of the "2" appear very narrow, the body very wide, and the horizontal tail of the "2" again look narrow. When in reality, they are all pretty much the same.
Knife
Knife is right... optical illusion.. i took the picture from the bottom thats why its that way... no flaws that i can see... really great watch! It goes 2+ days on full wind....=)
