i got this from reg a week ago. i like it but theres a few things i dont like about it. is the pearl supposed to look like that? for the money i spent shouldnt it have come with the correct case back and silver datewheel? also the sides of the 91350 bracelet are polished is that right? and the diver extension to me looks terrible.anyway all said i like the watch i like the way it fits me. i have a 702 gen crown, a gen (who knows) t-39 rolex crystal and a old sub insert, that i would like to know if i can use for this. ok here are some pics. they are the pics reg sent let me know what else i need to do here and later this year i ask again on who i should send this out to. thank all.

so the difference between a sea dweller and the sub insert is the plexi pearl. im glad you were the first on this since this your thing please let me know what i should do here i want it to stay new old stock. i bought a tc seadweller bracelet too.
They do not have changed much this 2 MBW' s where offered to me short time back, they came from George Greece so i think build in 2009
305£ with ems express. Plus i already spent 250 dollars for a gen crown and crystal. I guess ill be spending lots more..

Latest MBK bracelets arent too snuffy, light, too thin and overall cheap feeling, you'll need to mod it to use gen spec springbars. engravings look nice tho. Pearl has always been poor, snap in a Yuki's one and you're good to go.
Caseback isn't too bad. Use duct tape to get rid of black ink.
Latest inserts arent too good, good job you have a 702, cos crowns can be problematic and ugly at times.
Once you replace the wrong parts, you will have a watch rather close to gen.
grats a MBK is anyway a good choice.
I would like to know this too. I just bought a Cartel version, and before I mod anything on it, I'd like to know what the best base watch is.
The advantages are more the accuracy of the main case and the ability to take gen parts. Some of the cartel options have this ability but some don't. It's kind of hit and miss.
In my experiences so far, 5512 gen dial, gen spec bezel assembly and easily take gen crystal.
1655 GWSD non-gen construction but 2mm spring bars pre-installed, and can't take a gen size crystal.

I never tried a cartel, so not sure.
MBKs are overpriced atm, as the mods needed arent few, but cases are good.
Serials and ref engravings are very very nice, no mislettering.
What I really dont like in cartel cases is CGs. Too short, you can't modify that.
Anyway we all know how it goes, 150$ to have 80%, then 500 more to go to 95%...
