All my watches have been sent to Micky aka SSTEEL (not a trusted modder here on RWI but on Repgeek) and the coatings on my three Portofinos are from a UK based coater and the 3714s, Mk16 and the Laureus have a crystal from ProfSteve. I am very pleased with SSTEEL and if you want more info on him, just send me a PM

It's a Miyota version. It is undoubtably a beautiful watch with a very well made dial, but unfortunately I never really wore it. Definitely a box queen so once I find the time, I am going to sell it

They're understated. I don't like to attract too much attention to my watches and whilst IWCs are beautiful in detail, they're way more discreet than for example a Submariner may people recognize at first sight. Also, the diameter of 39-40 is just perfect for my wrist.

Im obsessing over the 3910 but TDs are either telling me out of stock or its not a great rep. How do you like yours?

The portofino chrono is my favorite IWC so I domt know what to do...

Both are really nice and very similar when it comes to fit and finish. Overall however, I would say that the YLF is better. The dial just is nicer and the hands are more 3-D shaped.

It´s beautiful and one of my favorite watches. There is literally nothing I do not like about the Chrono. If you find it via a TD, get the crystal AR coated and you will love it!
